Summer is near and with it the great sunny days. Enjoying the beach and the pool is part of the season, but we must also take into account the possible damage that ultraviolet radiation can cause to our skin; sunburn, spots, premature wrinkles, skin cancer, among others. That is why today we bring you 5 tips that can help to better sun protection while enjoying your days at the beach….


1.-Use sunscreen:

The sunscreen is extremely important, since it will be the barrier that will protect us from UV radiation. The ideal is to apply it half an hour before exposing ourselves to the sun, let the skin absorb and if possible use a SPF higher than 30, if you entered the sea or pool, touch up your sunscreen every two hours approximately ... it is important that you are always protected.


2.- Wear a hat and sunglasses:

The accessories that should not be missing in your beach look! It is advisable to wear wide-brimmed hats that can shade our neck, nose and ear. Wear dark sunglasses and preferably with protection against UVA / UVB rays

According to some experts, the healthiest time to tan is between 10am - 11:30am and in the afternoon after 4pm, for approximately 20 minutes at a time.


5.- Always bring an umbrella:

Our last tip is to always bring an umbrela while at the beach. Remember the umbrella won´t block all rays, the important thing is to take advantage of the shadows that it gives us when the UV rays are more intense.
